Norwich based Lotus cars to be used as rapid response vehicles by Italian military police

Two Lotus Evora S are to be used as rapid response cars by the Italian Carabinieri.  The nation which gave the world iconic sports car brands Ferrari and Maserati has adopted Lotus as the marque for its military police.  The Evoras – which carry a £70,000 price tag – will be in service with the Italian military police for two years, with one based in Rome, the other in Milan.

Not just anyone can drive the cars, they carefully selected some team members to attend a driver training session at the new test track at Lotus’ headquarters in Hethel, Norwich, Norfolk where they learnt all about the very special characteristics and incredible potential of the cars.
