The SBS Association is a registered Charity, and is funded entirely by voluntary subscriptions and donations and membership is open to all serving and former members of the SBS. In short our Objectives are:

• To relieve members or their dependents who are in need by virtue of financial hardship, injury or sickness.
• To perpetuate the memory of those members who have died in the service of their country.
• To foster esprit de corps, comradeship and welfare.
• To help preserve the traditions of the Service.

Due to the sensitive nature of the Special Boat Service their Association currently does not have a website. They relay on donations via third party websites. They have chosen to use Virgin Money Giving.

The Royal Marines Charitable Trust Fund

The RM CTF is the overarching Royal Marines charity, It exists to maintain the efficiency and 'esprit de Corps' of the Royal Marines. RM CTF supports the Recovery, Quality of Life and Through Life pathways. Providing help for our wounded, adventurous training and support for retired RM's and their dependents.

The RM CTF aim to raise £6 million by the 350th anniversary of the Royal Marines in 2014. Please help them to achieve their aim by donating at the link below.

We can only do it with your help... We need to raise £4 million in donations to deliver our services this year. This amounts to £11,000 a day, every day of the year.

Headway is a charity set up to give help and support to people affected by brain injury. It does this in a number of ways:

A network of local Groups and Branches throughout the UK and Channel Islands offers a wide range of services, including rehabilitation programmes, carer support, social re-integration, community outreach and respite care. The services available will vary, depending on local needs and resources.

Headway UK provides support to the local Groups and Branches and helps to deliver high quality services through guidance on policies, procedures, standards and training. Additionally:

• The Headway Helpline provides information, advises on sources of support, finds local rehabilitation services and offers a listening ear to those experiencing problems
• We publish a range of booklets containing information about aspects of brain injury that will be helpful to those directly affected, plus professionals, employers and members of the public
• We promote understanding of brain injury and its effects
• We lobby for better support and resources to be made available by statutory health and social care providers
• We campaign for measures that will reduce the number of brain injuries
